David came through the junior ranks at RJC and is one of the few that has stayed the course to make it through to qualifying as a BJA coach at the club.
As a 2nd Dan, David is no stranger to the competitve side of judo, indeed it has been somewhat of a challenge to tone down his competitive insticts in order to make him improve himself as a coach. It's a delicate balance, he still has much to achieve as a competitive player but at the same time he is making huge strides as a coach.
